While I was trying to finish up in the kitchen so I could join Chris in the living room to keep her company, Peachy came over & stood by the sink. So I got out his little bowl & he started splashing.

Here he is with an adorable little wet head!

Aren't his tail feathers beautiful? This is a sight you don't get to see very often - all the pretty feathers spread out and in full color. Look at him splashing away!

He looks like he is inviting you to join him, doesn't he? So precious!

Doesn't this make your neck hurt just to look at? What flexibility!

Being wet makes his pretty colors show up even brighter!

I just ran to get my camera because Peach was taking a bath. When he takes a bath, it is over before it has begun. The memory card was not in the camera....it was still in the little gizmo that I load into the computer....by the time I'd fetched it & put it in the camera, I had a little bird on the back of a chair with a few wet feathers & done with his bath. I thought his face looked cute with some matted feathers so since the camera was on & ready, I held him on my hand & took his picture....just as I flashed, he flapped his wings quickly & the camera caught that. It was an unexpected delight & certainly makes up for all the head turns & closed eyes that Peach likes to do when the camera is taking his picture.
